Why was this site set up?
Many women suffer from varicose veins of their vulva or vagina and don't know what to do about them.
Until we set up our first site on the subject in 2000, the only advice that was readily available for women suffering from this problem was to wear support!!!
At The Whiteley Clinic we identified the cause of vaginal and vulva varices and worked out the link between pelvic congestion syndrome, vaginal / vulval varicose veins and leg varicose veins.
With our colleagues at The Imaging Clinic, we have worked out the best way to investigate and to treat these. We have been successfully treating pelvic congestion syndrome, vaginal / vulva varices and leg varicose veins now since 2000 and in March 2010 presented over 600 cases - the largest series in the UK and one of the largest in the world.
This website has been set up to help the thousands of women with vaginal varices to know that treatments for this condition are available and to explain the process of how to get treatment.
